My Pick
The power brought by the Warchief is hard to pass up.
By picking him you are looking to go heavy green and consider centaur creatures more favorably than others.
With him on the board, your centaurs become a force to be reckoned with.
What Do You Think?

I think I would have went with the Riptide Chimera. I like a creature that also is an enchantment. Now, I have never won a draft, well one by default cause the other guy had to go. I still am very new tot he game though.
Thank you Shaun for the tips!
The Chimera has more set up to make it stick. You would have to bring something back to your hand every turn. If you have nothing else then the Chimera would go back to your hand. Now, it might not be bad to play the Chimera as a blocker and then return him and recast him every turn if you have nothing else to do but this isn’t optimal.
The Warchief in this case is better because of the abilities he gives to all your centaurs. Picking him first and then keeping your eye open for centaurs will set you up better for success. Plus, the Chimera might come back around (known as wheeling) and you could pick it up later.
