Lightning Strike is cheap, efficient removal. It’s great to have a few cards like these in your deck because you can target those pesky fliers as well as finish off your opponent in a pinch.
Lightning Strike is pretty much the new staple for direct damage and easy to include in almost any deck. (It’s one mana symbol make it easy to splash.)
