My Pick

[draft]death frenzy[/draft]

How do you evaluate Death Frenzy? Let’s see.

Development: With Death Frenzy in your opening hand you can plan around it. You can save some creatures in hand and then wipe your opponent’s board on turn 5.

Parity: If you are able to eliminate enough of your opponent’s creatures and keep yours around then Death Frenzy will turn a parity state in your favor.

Winning: Not good when you’re winning. You do not want to destroy your own board state when you are ahead.

Losing: By destroying multiple cards with just your one gives you card advantage and time to rebuild.

I break from my normal mono colored creature on the first pick rule because no creature in this pack is outstanding and mass removal is nice to have on hand.
