My Pick
[draft]sidisi, brood tyrant[/draft]
How does Sidisi, Brood Tyrant stand up when critically evaluated? Let’s see.
Development: A 3/3 for 4 mana is just OK. We’ve seen mono-colored 3/3’s for 3 recently which are so much easier to cast then this tri color Naga.
Her ability will set you up for future turns if your deck takes advantage of Delve.
Parity: I don’t think Sidisi is an all star at parity but being to get more creatures than your opponent is helpful.
Winning: More creatures on the board and a full graveyard will definitely close the game for a Delve deck.
Losing: If you can get 2 or 3 creatures out of Sidisi and have a super good Delve card to use then she might help you stabilize.
But that is a lot set up for an uncertain result. Sidisi is not the best when you are behind.
Sidisi does have a cool build-around-me ability. Getting her in pack one is better than pack two or three because you can decide to go that route from the beginning.
By taking the Khan you will want to draft a lot of creatures and Delve. Other cards that fill your yard and cards that bring spells back will be useful too.
