My Pick
[draft]Heat Ray[/draft]
Heat Ray is a great removal spell because it scales with the game.
You can use it in the early game to get rid of a small blocker that is holding up your aggressive force or in the late game when you have more mana in order to deal with a bomb.
Regardless of when you draw Heat Ray you can find a use for it and usually have the mana to get a good effect out of it. That’s why it’s so good.

Would you first pick Heat Ray?
I think I would’ve of taken the heliod’s pilgrim and let the two to my right fight for red.
That’s a good point. By passing two good red cards (Heat Ray and Brood Keeper) you are sending a signal that you are not in red. That way you won’t have to fight over it.
