I really want to see this vampire be good. The ability to sacrifice a blocked or blocking creature to Blood Host for a counter and 2 life seems really good.
The trick is getting enough targets to feed Blood Host. Tokens are perfect for this. I speculate Blood Host shines in BW decks with Raise the Alarm and Triplicate Spirits[/cards].
I’ll first pick Blood Host just to see if I can make him work. Lightning Strike is my runner up.
