My Pick
[draft]soul of shandalar[/draft]
Soul of Shandalar is the clear first pick in this pack. With first strike this Soul can kill pretty much anything in combat and has a killer ability on top of that.
Being able to dump your late game mana into such a board affecting ability is a no-brainer. Three damage adds up and many of your opponent’s creatures will not survive the lightning bolt Soul of Shandalar throws at them.
In this particular pack I would hope the the Elvish Mystic or the Ranger’s Guile wheel so I can either ramp into the Soul or protect it once it’s out.
But that also depends on the next few picks. Maybe we don’t go red green at all.
