My Pick

[draft]anafenza, the foremost[/draft]

How do you evaluate Anafenza, the Foremost? Let’s see.

Development: I’d love to have Anafenza in my opening hand. A 4/4 for 3 is great! You just need the mana to back her up. You’ll get her out on turn 4 or 5 more often than turn 3.

Parity: Anafenza, the Foremost can start making your attackers bigger. Keep in mind you don’t want her to die so try and have a trick in hand to save her.

Winning: If you get the Abzan Khan on turn 3 you are well on your way to winning.

Losing: Anafenza, the Foremost might not turn a losing game into a wining one but she is a decent blocker and with other attackers to support she can get you in the game again.
(Especially if you have any +1/+1 lords in play.)
