My Pick

[draft]cone of flame[/draft]

How does Cone of Flame stand up in the quadrant theory? Let’s see.

Development: Playing Cone of Flame on time and blowing out your opponent is exactly what I want to do. While it pushes the limits for a development card it gets a big UP.

Parity: When the board is stalled and you are able to wipe away 2 or 3 blockers and then swing in with an attack you will find the game leaning in your favor shortly.

Winning: If you’re winning you can remove almost any threat your opponent plays and keep on bringing the pain.

Losing: When you’re behind on board state you can actually get a 3 for 1 with Cone of Flame and start to stabilize. This card is great.

Cone of Flame is such a blow out card it should never be passed up. It is so hard to recover from getting legitimately 3 for 1’d and you can be the one putting your opponent on the ropes.
